Best premium - with a modern military-inspired layout, the Logitech G Saitek X52. Logitech G Saitek X52 Flight Control System. If you set its state to 'Fall Back' it'll just work as joy6, like you want it to, in Elite: Dangerous. Assign any button to any number of in-sim commands, such as afterburner, Frame Shift Drive, target lock and weapon group firing. Don’t have time now but I’ll try all the other button numbers that aren’t shown on the FS layout graphic for the stick/throttle and see what I can find. You should now be able to map the Pinkie button to macros, other controls, whatever. Thanks for that - I tried it and buttons 33/34 turned out to be the Start/Stop and Reset buttons on the X-52 Multi Function display. Switch back to the other view if you want. Have you got a load of 'Mode X + Pinkie' shift state profiles in there that were added by default? Delete them. Note how you (probably, if you're having the same problem as me) can't map the pinkie button at all. So, if you're running the software, load it up to edit the profile. But you need to be running the profile editor to be able to map the wheel, tiny button etc on the throttle to not equate to mouse inputs but to joystick buttons.

Has anyone seen this before, and what did you do to fix it?ĮDIT: For what it's worth, I fixed my issue.įirstly, it seems if you're not running the Saitek profile editor this issue doesn't hit you (as long as you've disabled clutch mode in the Windows joystick controls). Clutch button initiates ‘safe mode’ to allow on-the-fly profile selection, or to display button functionality without. This was the same issue I had with the 'boost' button on the throttle when I had clutched mode enabled, but that is definitely disabled, and i've tried turning it on and off again. It seems that when I have the Windows configuration window open it works fine, but if I close that E:D refuses to recognise that button. I loaded up the windows game controller window, joy6 was registering as being pressed. Then suddenly mid-game I couldn't access UI mode in game. You can also change the colour of the different button LEDs, with a choice of green, amber or red for most of the buttons. You can control the appearance of these LEDs, making them brighter or dimmer according to your preference.

Created a profile that unbound the mouse buttons/wheel etc on the throttle so I could use them as normal buttons. X52 Professional HOTAS is enhanced by a number of LEDs on the throttle unit and flight stick. Had a few issues that turned out to be due to me being in clutched mode. Played all of this morning with no worries. So i've just got my X52 Pro, and beta access. For reference, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and X52 Pro driver version is 7.0.53.6, and ST Programming software version is also 7.0.53. You can lock the stick rotation or use it for the rudder. The mode switch also works with Saitek ST Programming software and it allows be different functions to be set on the same key with different modes. EGLL is the default one in FS2020 and EGCC is a new one from Maaco Simulations. The number of buttons, levers, sliders and knobs provides great flexibility. I’ve just completed a flight from EGLL to EGCC yesterday and no problems. I can’t see the logic in the scenery affecting the throttles.
